Recipe: Sugar - Cube Trees

119 sugar cubes -- (about one 1-pound
box)
Glue gun and glue sticks
OR
Vanilla ready-to-spread frosting
Dragees -- (nonedible; for
decoration only)
Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper. For each tree, attach 5 sugar
cubes
in a row, using glue or frosting, and make 1 row of 4 cubes, 1 row
of 3
cubes and 1 row of 2 cubes. Attach rows in descending order,
centering
shorter rows on longer rows, in Christmas tree shape.
For tree trunk, attach 2 cubes onto center of 5-cube row. For tree
top,
attach 1 cube onto center of 2-cube row. Let dry on cookie sheet.
Decorate trees by attaching dragees with glue or frosting. Arrange
trees
upright on table for centerpiece or place cards.
