Recipe: Biscuits Sweetened

2 1/2 c Flour,all-purpose
1/2 t Salt
1 1/2 T Baking powder
3 T Sugar
3/4 c Shortening
2/3 c Milk
Combine flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar; cut in shortening
until
mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk, stirring until well
blended. Turn dough out onto floured surface, and knead lighlty about
3 to 4 times.
Roll dough to 1/2" thickness, and cut into rounds with a 2-1/2"
cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet; bake at 450 degrees for
15 mintues or until golden.
