1 white cake mix plus ingredients called for
on the package
2 9 inch cake pans
1 recipe Cannoli creme
2 cans vanilla frosting
4 cups shredded coconut
green food coloring
black string licorice
blue jelly beans
yellow gum drops
cherry gum drops
1) Following cake mix directions, prepare cake batter and divide it
evenly between two 9-inch cake pans. Bake
cake as per package directions.
2) Cut two thin layers from one half to create ears and bow tie.
3) Arrange bottom layers on large cooking sheet to form bunny face with
ears.
4) Spread bottom layers with cannoli creme.
5) Carefully place top layers on bottom layers, make sure to match
shapes.
6) Frost entire cake with vanilla frosting.
7) Construct bunny face with the following: cherry for nose, gum drops
and jelly beans for eyes, string licorice for
whiskers.
8) Place shredded coconut in a plastic bag with a few drops of green food
coloring and shake to distribute color.
Use as green coconut "grass" decoration around the cake.
