Recipe: Nasi Goring Fried Rice

2c. cooked rice
Sufficent cut-up cooked meat
(About 1 c. roast pork or chicken)
2 medium large onions

Fry cooked rice in a little fat from roast chicken
or pork. if available or use oil. Keep turning in
the pan. Add meat and fry all together over gentle
heat. Fry sliced onions till cooked. Add to
rice mixture, add some peanuts and raisens. Cook all
together for 20 minutes. In small skillet fry one
egg beaten with 1 T. water. Plase Nasi Goring on
a large platter. Pile high and add thinly sliced egg pieces,
croutons of fried bread and shredded lettuce.. Place slices of
cucumber around mixture. Serve with soy sauce..
