Recipe: Apple Dessert Squares

l pkg. butter pecan cake mix
3 tablespoons margarine; melted
l tablespoon water
4 cups thinly sliced and peeled apples
2 tablespoons flour
l/2 tsp. apple pie spice
l can (l4 oz) sweetened condensed milk
Thoroughly combine cake mix, margarine and water. Spray a 9 x 13
casserole baking dish. Press into bottom of baking dish. Bake at 350
about l0 minutes or until lightly browned.
Combine apples, flour and spice. Arrange over hot crust. Pour
condensed milk over apples. Return to oven and bake 50 minutes or
until milk is golden brown and apples are tender. Cool completely
before serving.
