Recipe: Chicken Liver Pate

4 T. butter (1/2 stick)
8 fresh chicken livers, or frozen and defrosted
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/4 cup heavy cream

Melt butter in a skillet and cook livers for about 3-4 minutes until just
tender. Add garlic and cook for another minute or so. Transfer to a food
processor or blender, add cream and seasonings to taste, and blend until smooth. Serve
with hot buttered toast, or melba toast. Serves 4
