Recipe: Apple Cheese Dessert Pizza

Pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie
APPLE PIE TOPPING:
2 cans apple pie filling
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon allspice
CHEESE FILLING:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
GARNISH:
2 cups non-dairy frozen whipped topping
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On lightly floured surface, roll pastry
to
12-inch circle. Place on 12-pinch pizza pan. Flute edges and prick
bottom of
crust. Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven but leave oven on.
In large microwave-safe bowl, combine apple pie filling with sugar
and
allspice. Microwave 8-10 minutes, until apples are soft. Set aside.
Blend cream cheese with sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla
and
mix
well. Pour onto partially baked crust and bake until filling turns a
light
brown.
Remove from oven and spread apple pie topping over cheese filling.
Chill.
To serve, top pie with dollops of whipped topping. Cut into 12
wedges.
