Recipe: Gooseberry Pie

2 cups fresh gooseberries
1 cup sugar
1 egg
¼ cup flour
2 frozen pie crusts
Method:
Step 1. Place 2 cups gooseberries in the bottom crust.
Step 2. Mix together 1 cup sugar, ¼ cup flour and 1 egg in a bowl.
Step 3. Spread this over the gooseberries
Step 4. Moisten the edges of the bottom crust with water and drape the top crust that has slits cut in it over the pie, pressing firmly all around the edges to seal.
Step 5. Trim and flute edge.
Step 6. Bake Until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through the slits, 45 to 55 minutes.
Step 7. Serve warm or cooled.
