Alligator Stew #1

Marinate in washtub:
1 (400 lb.) alligator, declawed, scaled
Moonshine to cover

Marinate the alligator for several days in laundry tub in good moonshine.

10 lb. Bermuda onions
24 hand picked coconuts
6 plucked ducks
12 pineapples to season
1 fat goose
1 cup cayenne pepper
2 bushels crawdads
5 lb. rock salt
6 lb. mustard greens
6 lb. turnips
2 cups gumbo file powder
10 lb. potatoes
16 lb. carrots
1 (5 lb.) truffle, mashed

Garnish:
Greens

Run the ducks through the washing machine on permanent press. Hang
goose on clothesline for 3 days to dry.

Wash all the greens through the machine on gentle cycle. Assemble all
ingredients in the back end of a dump truck, now slowly back up over
bonfire, leave 24 hours.

Fill your caulking gun with mashed truffle and flute over the
alligator and Voila -- alligator stew for 500 of your intimate
friends. Whatever you do, don't forget the finger bowls!

Yield: 500 servings.
