Recipe: Apples 'n' Cream Pie

1 package folded refrigerated unbaked piecrusts -- (15-ounce)
5 cups sliced, peeled baking apples -- (about 5 medium)
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
3/4 cup half-and-half or light cream
1. Place 1 piecrust in a 9" pie plate according to package directions.
2. Place apples in the lined plate. Mix sugar, flour and spice in
medium bowl. Stir in half-and-half or light cream. Pour over apples.
Cut slits in top crust. Place top crust on filling. Fold top crust
under bottom crust; flute edge.
3. Cover edge of crust with foil. Bake in preheated 375^ÃF oven for 25
minutes. Remove foil. Brush crust with additional half-and-half or
light cream if desired. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes more or until top
is golden and apples are tender. Let stand at room temperature for at
least 1 hour. Serve warm.
