Recipe: 123 Peanut Butter Cookies

1 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup boiling water
2 cups Bisquick® baking mix -- or similar mix
1 cup granulated sugar or brown sugar -- packed
Heat oven to 400°, moderately hot.
Blend peanut butter, shortening, sugar and water with electric mixer or spoon until smooth. Stir in Bisquick.
Drop small teaspoonfuls on slightly greased baking sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in Bisquick or press with fork dipped in Bisquick.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
