ASPARAGUS ALMONDINE

2 tablespoons margarine
2 cups diagonally cut fresh asparagus spears
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup blanched slivered almonds, toasted
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Heat the margarine in a large skillet; add the asparagus. steam for about 2
minutes or until tender-crisp. Toss the asparagus with lemon juice and
almonds. Season to taste with pepper before serving.
