Banana Chocolate Chip Cake
1 stick butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup mashed ripe bananas
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
6 oz. chocolate chips (1 cup)
In a bowl cream butter with sugar. Beat in eggs, then vanilla and
the mashed bananas. In another bowl, stir together flour, salt and
baking soda. Beat into banana mixture, then stir in chocolate
chips. Turn batter into a greased and floured 9X5 loaf pan. Bake at
350 for 1 hour or until it tests done with a toothpick. Place on a
rack to cool completely before cutting.
