Beef And Corn Chowder
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4" cubes
1 cup thinly sliced celery
3 cups milk
17 oz. can cream-style corn
1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
2 Tbs. fresh parsley
Brown the ground beef and onion until the meat is browned. Drain off
any fat. Add the potatoes, celery, 1 cup water and salt. Cook,
covered until the vegetables are tender. Add the milk, corn and
thyme. Heat through until barely boiling. Season with salt and
pepper. Stir in parsley before serving.
