Recipe: Beet Or Carrot Salad

KHAZANOVA
11 lb. can beets, well drained, or 5 raw carrots, peeled
1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed (or less to taste)
1/3 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
Dice beets (if using carrots, chop coarsely). Combine beets or carrots with
all other ingredients and chill for 1/2 hour. Can be served on lettuce
leaves. Serves 4.
