BUTTER ROLLS
These rolls may be made from left-over pastry dough.
Roll out dough to the thickness of pie crust. Cut a 4-5 inch square or
circle of dough. Place a small pat of butter in the center; on top of this,
place a scant tablespoon of sugar and about half a capful of vanilla
flavoring.
Fold top edge of dough to center, moisten with water, fold bottom edge over
top edge and moisten; continue until all edges are sealed in the center.
Bake, as for a pie, until lightly browned.
