Recipe: Meatballs With Grape Jelly Sauce

MEATBALLS WITH GRAPE JELLY SAUCE
2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 bottles (8-ozs. each) chili sauce
1 cup grape jelly
4 tsps. lemon juice
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, water and
garlic salt. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well. Shape beef mixture into
one-inch balls. In a large skillet, combine chili sauce, grape jelly and
lemon juice; mix well. Add meatballs. Cook, covered, over low heat 45
minutes, or until meatballs are done. Transfer meatballs and sauce to a
chafing dish for serving. Makes about 7 dozen.
