Yakisoba
2 Tbls. sesame oil
1/2 lb. sirloin steak - trimmed of fat, cut into tiny pieces
1 Tbls. minced garlic
1 tsp. minced ginger
4 oz. fresh mushrooms - sliced thin
1/4 cup shredded carrots
3 green onions - trimmed, sliced
4 bundles somen noodles
3 Tbls. soy sauce
1 Tbls. oyster sauce
1/4 tsp. white pepper
-Bring a large pot of water to a boil; keep warm.
-Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
-Add beef to wok, then garlic and ginger; stir-fry until meat is no
longer pink.
-Add mushrooms, carrot, and onions to wok; stir-fry for 2 minutes.
-Drop noodles in boiling water; cook for 1 minute; drain and rinse
with cold water.
-Add noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and pepper to wok; stir-fry for
1 minute.
-Serve immediately.
