German Chocolate Pie
Pie:
1 pkg. German Sweet Chocolate
¼ cup butter
1 2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 ½ cups sugar
3 tblps. Cornstarch
1/8 teasp.
Salt
2 eggs
1 teasp. Vanilla
1/3 cups flaked coconut
½ cup chopped pecans
2 unbaked 8" pie shells.
Melt chocolate with butter over low heat, stirring until blended. Remove
from heat, gradually blend in milk; mix sugar, cornstarch & salt. Thoroughly
beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually blend in choc. Mixture; stir in coconut
& pecans & pour into pie shells. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min.
Cool 4 hours before cutting.
