Recipe: Ambrosia Spread

1 can mandarin oranges, drained (11 oz)
1 container soft cream cheese with pineapple (8 oz)
1/4 cup flaked coconut, toasted
1/4 cup slivered almonds, chopped and toasted
Set aside 3 orange segments for garnish. Chop remaining oranges; set aside.
Combine cream cheese, coconut and almonds in a medium bowl; stir until blended.
Fold in chopped orange. Arrange reserved orange segments on stop. Cover and
chill. Serve with date nut bread, banana bread or gingersnaps. Makes 1 2/3
cups.
