Recipe: Apple And Onion Ketchup

1 dozen cooking apples, 2 level teaspoons ground cinnamon, 2 medium sized
onions, 1 small teaspoon salt, 1 level teaspoon mustard, 1 pint pure malt
vinegar, 1 level teaspoon ground cloves, 6 oz. castor sugar
Peel, quarter, and core apples. Peal and dice onions. Place in
saucepan with sufficient water to cover and cook gently till soft. Rub
through sieve. Add other ingredients to this pulp. Simmer gently for 1
hour. Bottle while hot. Seal when cold.
