1 cup tapioca, 3/4 cup sugar, 3 cups cold water, Cream or custard, 4 apples.
Soak tapioca in water overnight. Cook till soft and transparent.
Peel and core apples. Put apples into a greased dish and sprinkle with
sugar. Pour tapioca over apples. Bake in a moderate oven till apples are
tender. Serve with cream or boiled custard.
