Recipe: Aunt Kittys Nut Puffs

Serving Size : 60

1 cup butter -- softened
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons water
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
Confectioners' sugar for rolling

In a mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar. Add the vanilla and water and
mix well. Add the
flour and nuts and mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 2 to 3
hours.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Take tablespoon-size bits of the dough and
roll into 1-inch balls.
Place the dough balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for l0 to l2
minutes,

Fill a small plastic bag with confectioners' sugar. While the nut puffs are
still warm, place a few at a
time into the bag and shake well until they are covered with sugar. Roll
again in sugar when cool
