Recipe: Pecan Joy Cake

1 package chocolate cake mix with pudding
24 marshmallows
1-1/2 cups evaporated milk, divided
2-1/2 cups sugar, divided
14 oz. pkg. coconut
1/2 cup butter
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
Bake chocolate cake according to package directions, in 11x17" pan.
Meanwhile, heat marshmallows and 1 cup sugar until melted. Add
shredded coconut and pour over warm cake, set aside. In a saucepan,
bring 1/2 cup evaporated milk, 1-1/2 cups sugar, and butter to a
boil. Add chocolate chips, and stir until melted. Stir in pecans.
Spread over the coconut layer.
