Recipe: Plum Pudding

1 cup soft bread crumbs
1 cup finely chopped suet
1 cup finely chopped apples
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped figs
1/2 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup thinly sliced citron
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, beaten,
1 cup milk

In Large Bowl, Mix and sift together the flour, spices, salt and
baking powder. Add all the chopped fruits and bread crumbs and mix
well. Add the beaten eggs and milk and mix again. Put in greased
coffee tins and steam for 3 hours.
