Recipe: Amish Hot Bacon Dressing

Cook 1 lb. of bacon until it is done enough
that you can crumble it when it cools. Set aside.
In Mixing Bowl, combine:
2C Sugar
2tsp Salt
2-4 Eggs (depending on size)
1C White Vinegar
4C Water
Preheat MD/LG Skillet, lightly greased
to med/high. Pour ingredients from
mixing bowl into skillet and heat
just to boiling.
Add crumbled bacon.
Add flour or cornstarch to
thicken to about the consistency
of gravy, and it's done.
Traditionally, this was served
over lettuce, endive, or dandelion
that you can crumble it when it cools. Set aside.
