Recipe: Appetizer Meatballs

2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon ketchup
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds ground beef

SAUCE:
1 bottle (14 ounces) hot and spicy or
regular ketchup
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 jar (12 ounces) apple jelly
1 jar (12 ounces) currant jelly

In a bowl, combine the first 11 ingredients; add beef and mix well. Shape
into 1-in. balls. Place on a rack6in a shallow roasting pan. Bake at 350*
for 10-15 minutes. Remove meatballs and rack; drain. Com­ bine ketchup and
cornstarch in roasting pan. Stir in jellies; add meatballs. Cover; bake 30
minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Yield: about 8 dozen.
