Recipe: The Sebastian

Yield: 6 Servings
3 c Shredded cabbage
2/3 c Mayonnaise
1/3 c Chutney
1 tb Curry powder
1/8 ts Salt
12 sl (1-oz) cooked ham
6 sl Cheddar cheese
12 sl Rye bread
1/4 c Butter; softened
Combine first 5 ingredients; set aside. Place 2 ham slices, 1/2 cup slaw,
and 1 cheese slice onto 6 bread slices; top with remaining slices of bread.
Spread half of butter on outside of 1 side of each sandwich. Place,
buttered side down, onto a hot griddle or skillet. Cook 1 minute or until
golden. Spread remaining butter on ungrilled side and cook until golden and
cheese begins to melt. Serve immediately.
