Recipe: Fairy Cookies

1 c Powdered sugar
1 c White sugar
1 c Margarine
1 c Vegetable oil
2 Eggs; beaten
1 ts Vanilla or almond flavoring
4 1/2 c Flour plus 2 tbsp.
1 ts Salt
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Cream of tartar
Mix all ingredients. Chill dough and roll into balls. Press down with fork
or glass. Nuts or fruits may be added before chilling dough. Bake at 370
degrees for 12 minutes. Should be light brown. This is a large recipe and
very good.
