Recipe: 22 Minute Cake

2 sticks (1 cup) butter
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
Frosting:
1 stick butter
2 tablespoons cocoa
4 teaspoons milk
2 1/2 to 3 cups powdered sugar
Bring butter, cocoa, water and cinnamon to a boil. Stir and cool until
warm. Add eggs, soda and vanilla. Stir well, then add salt and buttermilk.
Add sugar and flour. Blend well and pour into a greased and floured 10-inch
by 15-inch jelly roll pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. When cake has a
couple of minutes left to bake, start the frosting:
For frosting, bring butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. Stir in the powdered
sugar. Frost cake when it is hot from the oven. Frosting will set up fast.
