Recipe: All In One Lemon Fish

Serves 3

1 leek
1 tbs butter or margarine
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 1/2 dl (2/3 cup) un-cooked rice
1 tsp salt
dash white pepper
3 dl (1 1/4 cups) hot water
300 g (10 oz) frozen fillets of plaice
1 tsp salt

Lemon butter:
3 tbs butter or margarine
peel and juice from 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp salt
dash white pepper

Rinse and slice the leek and sautee it lightly in the fat. Sprinkle with
curry and add rice, salt and pepper. Stir well. Pour on the hot water, cover
and bring to a boil.

Put the frozen fish on the rice just as they are. Flavor them with salt and
cover again. Let simmer slowly for about 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, make the lemon butter. Grate the peel and stir it together with
the rest of the ingredients for the butter. Shape to a sausage and put in
the freezer.

Make sure the fish is tender and lovely and the rice is done. Put the pot
directly on the table. Slice the lemon butter, put it on the fish so that it
melts, and serve with a tomato salad. Enjoy!
