Recipe: Cottage Cheese Banana Split

2/3 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1/4 cup vanilla low-fat yogurt -- PLUS
2 tablespoons vanilla low-fat yogurt
1 small banana -- cut in half lengthwise
2 tablespoons unsweetened crushed pineapple -- drained
4 small fresh strawberries -- sliced
2 teaspoons wheat germ

Combine cottage cheese and yogurt; mix well. Spoon into 2 dessert
bowls. Cut banana slices in half crosswise; arrange 2 banana slices
on sides of each bowl. Top cottage cheese with equal amounts of
pineapple and strawberries. Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon wheat germ.

Yield 2 servings (164 calories per serving).
